SAP Fiori Compliance

As part of SAP, our Design System is designed to remain closely aligned with the SAP Fiori Design System. We draw from its patterns and guidelines whenever applicable, and designers should review the Fiori documentation during their work, as it may address areas not yet represented in our system.

Known Issues

Colors: all UI colors in the SAP Engagement Cloud Design System are derived from a comprehensive color grid, while the SAP Fiori Design System defines colors on a component level. Because of this, some of the Fiori colors cannot be properly adapted in SAP Engagement Cloud, so some components might use slightly different colors. These minor differences don't affect the general branding look and feel, and don't hurt accessibility (e.g. contrast).
